PSG, Real Madrid still interested in Roma’s Leonardo Spinazzola

It’s been a busy month for Roma fullback Leonardo Spinazzola.

After a ten-month long injury layoff, the Italian international completed his recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon, returning to the pitch on May 9th versus Fiorentina.

He also secured a call-up back into the Italian national team before capturing his first trophy with Roma last Thursday in the Conference League.

Despite returning just weeks ago, SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports both Real Madrid and PSG are monitoring his situation and remain interested in the defender.

Last summer the two clubs were keen on the Italian and became even more convinced after his scintillating Euro 2020 performances.

The Spanish giants are seeking a replacement for outgoing veteran Marcelo while the Parisians want an upgrade on Juan Bernat. At the moment, though, there’s no active negotiation.
