Corriere dello Sport have reported that Qatari Sports Investment Group, the same group who own Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain, are interested in acquiring Roma from American owner James Pallotta, who purchased the Giallorossi in 2011. The newspaper even goes as far as to say that an initial offer of €400 million was presented to the club, however, the Giallorossi reportedly denied this. UEFA states two owners cannot own the same club, so the Qataris would have to find a different owner to lead Roma.
