Roma goalkeeper coach, Marco Savorani, has become renowned for his work in the Italian capital after helping revive Wojciech Szczesny’s career and assisting in Alisson’s rise to stardom in recent seasons.
Present day, though, the Italian’s future with the Giallorossi has become a major question mark as his contract nears its expiration date of 30 June.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roma are still pondering whether or not to renew Savorani’s contract with the club. Reportedly, the primary reason for their hesitation is linked to the fluctuation in performances from the team’s shot-stoppers over the previous two and a half seasons.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 55 year-old’s internal stock at the club has fallen and it remains to be seen if he will remain beyond this summer.
