Former Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan once again went over his past with the Giallorossi in a recent interview with Rete Sport.
The Belgian player spoke highly of Lorenzo Pellegrini.
“Some time ago I said he would be the right captain for Roma,” said Nainggolan.
“He spent time in the locker room with great players, it was something he needed in order to become captain.”
“In my Roma he didn’t always play, but he was in a very strong group where he learned a lot.”
“In those years he was much younger, he came from Sassuolo but he fit well into the locker room. On the pitch today he is an experienced player.”
