Former Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan is edging closer to a surprise return to Italy as he is currently in talks with Daniele De Rossi’s SPAL.
The Belgian international confirmed the earlier rumours in an interview with Radio Goal.
“I spoke with Daniele earlier today. We have a great friendship that goes beyond football,” said the 35-year-old.
“If he needs me, I’m ready to lend him a hand. SPAL are not the only team that want me right now, but I’m looking for an interesting project. Daniele is at his first year as a manager and I’m ready to help him out.”
