Milan attacker Rafael Leao spoke to Milan TV on the eve of the Rossoneri’s Europa League rematch with Roma at Stadio Olimpico.

The Portuguese forward highlighted the importance of the match given Milan’s objectives for the season.

“This is going to be one of the most important matches of this season. My teammates and I are aware of the importance of it: I would like to play now, today.”

“I have faith, always with respect for Roma who have great players: but we are going there with all our strength to win the match,” he said.

“These matches here are where the details make the biggest difference: Roma were better in the first match and we will do better than we did then, we’ll have to be more aware and concentrated, and improve upon what we didn’t do well.”

“As I said, tomorrow we will go to Rome in order to win. We know it’s possible. The result is 1-0, we can overturn it. We have to start strong, try to score in the first few minutes and then play the match like a final,” he concluded.
