Following the events concerning the Stadio della Roma that happened earlier this week, a meeting at the Campidoglio took place today between Giallorossi general manager Mauro Baldissoni and the mayor of Rome, Virginia Raggi.
Here are their words following their meeting:
Baldissoni: “We thought it was necessary to discuss with the administration and evaluate what happened in these last few days and what are the procedural steps at our disposal to safeguard our project, which we have worked for many years on”.
Raggi: “Let’s start with what the Prosecutor of Rome affirmed, which is that the proceedings of the procedural steps are apparently all valid, but for greater security of our citizens, the administration and the club will verify everything and if the results are positive, we can continue with the project. We trust the magistrate for everything else. We would like to continue to continue this project in the wake of the legal process. This verification we will do is further guaranteeing a project that is very important”.
