Claudio Ranieri paid special mention to two new Roma players who made featured from the start in last night’s 0-1 win over Parma.

More specifically, Ranieri praised Gourna-Douath and Salah-Eddine (who made his debut for the Giallorossi) in his post-match presser.

“I wanted Gourna-Douath to hold Parma’s Bernabé and cut through the opponent’s lines, which I think he did quite well,” said Ranieri.

“I haven’t been able to coach him long so he still lacks the full ninety minutes in his legs and experienced some cramps.”

“Salah-Eddine  played a good game, though we have to serve him better. We involve Angelino much more, so we have to do the same with him.”

“He played a good game, he gives us security and tranquility on that left flank.”
