Ranieri ready to join Sampdoria: first match against Roma

Claudio Ranieri is set to join Sampdoria. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Roman-born manager is in fact on the verge of agreeing to terms with Sampdoria after they reached an agreement on the financial figures of a contract as well as a bonus that would be triggered by avoiding relegation. Ranieri’s agent will soon meet with Sampdoria to complete the negotiation.

Ironically, Ranieri’s first match in charge will be against the Giallorossi following the international break.
