Claudio Ranieri will not be punished following his outburst against referee Sozza after the final whistle of Roma’s defeat to Atalanta.

The Italian technician was booked by the match official on Monday night as he contested the decision to withdraw the penalty that had been initially given on Kone.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, however, Ranieri will not face any sort of suspension as he did not direct any insults at Sozza or other officials.

Therefore, Ranieri will be regularly on Roma’s sidelines for his last match at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday vs Milan.
