Roma defender Rasmus Kristensen discussed with anticipation the upcoming Coppa Italia clash with Lazio.
In an interview with SportMediaset, Kristensen said, “The Coppa Italia is a tournament that we want to honor in order to play the final at the Olimpico which is one of our objectives. I can’t wait to play this match, the last one was intense but I experienced it from the bench. It is very important for us to win tomorrow.”
“Lazio? I don’t fear anyone, but I respect the strength of the opponent. In general we have to show our quality to win the match. Against Atalanta we had the chance to win, but it was a question of details, but now we are focused on the ICoppa Italia.”
“Mourinho? It’s only natural that it takes time to settle in when you a join a new club. Now I feel that I am fully integrated into Serie A and into what the coach asks of me. I do my best to speed up the adaptation and what matters is to give my best in whatever role Mourinho chooses for me.”
“Huijsen? I was impressed the first time I saw him on Sunday, he entered the pitch well and played a good game. If you have the right quality, age doesn’t matter, I’m happy he’s here with us. There are few of us in defense and we need to unite even more to deal with the problems that we face. In the end it’s about fighting for your teammates.”
