Rasmus Kristensen on Mourinho: “He always gives everyone a chance.”

Roma fullback Rasmus Kristensen helped lead the Giallorossi to a late comeback win against Sassuolo last night.

The big Danish defender was ecstatic following his deflected goal which marked the first time scoring for the capital club since his arrival in the summer on loan from Leeds.

In his post-match media appearance, Kristensen singled out Mourinho’s importance for his own development and the chance of making an impact late in the game as a substitute off the bench.

“I’m very happy to have helped the team and obviously also to the victory,” said Kristensen.

“Mourinho is a coach who always gives everyone a chance, I and the others know that by training well sooner or later you will be rewarded. This time it happened to me, in the future it will happen to someone else. He is someone who never abandons anyone,” Corriere della Sera quotes him saying.
