Danish fullback Rasmus Kristensen was the receiving end of Jose Mourinho’s words of praise after last night’s win over Cremonese.
During the match, Kristensen – who joined Roma on loan from Leeds United in the summer – came on in the second half and played in the centre of the defense alongside Bryan Cristante.
In his post-match presser, Mourinho praised Kristensen for his versatility and resilience.
“For me Kristensen gave an incredible performance,” said the Special One. “I am referring to his level of focus and that he played in a position he wasn’t familiar with.”
“For me he did very well. He helped the team react and limit the counter-attacks of Cremonese who are a difficult team to face,” he added.
