RB Leipzig has not yet given up in their pursuit of Patrik Schick.

The Czech attacker has officially returned to Roma following his loan spell at the Bundesliga side after they decided not to exercise the €29 million option to buy — a figure they deemed too large.

Czech outlet iSport.cz reports that a delegation from the German side, led by CEO Oliver Mintzlaff, will soon meet with Roma’s hierarchy to try and reopen negotiations.

Meanwhile, Pavel Paska, the agent of Schick discussed the negotiations involving his client, “With the new owners (at Roma), negotiations are starting from scratch. I’m curious to see if they want to sell Patrik and at what price or if they want to keep him.”

“The trip to the Italian capital just shows how interested Leipzig are”.
