RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche spoke to German outlet DPA today and addressed the situation of Patrik Schick.
The Czech attacker, who is on loan at the German side on loan with an option to buy (€29 million) from Roma, has grabbed 7 goals and 3 assists in 19 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit and has been tipped for a permanent stay.
“Patrik feels very comfortable with us, and I can very well imagine him staying,” he admitted.
“At the moment, the option hasn’t changed. But perhaps (it will) in the next few weeks — all clubs have to deal with the (COVID-19) crisis”.
“It will be a different transfer market. It will depend on whether the leagues and European competitions can be completed because that means a lot of income”.
