Real Betis interested in Matias Vina

Spanish side Real Betis have come forward for Roma fullback Matias Vina.

The Uruguayan player could be on the move in January after a disappointing spell in the Italian capital.

Vina – who was signed in the summer of 2021 as Leonardo Spinazzola’s replacement following the Italian’s injury in EURO 2020 – has only featured in seven matches across all competitions for Roma this season.

Most of his appearances came in this year’s Europa League campaign as one of the central defenders in the absence of Marash Kumbulla or Roger Ibanez.

Now, GOAL reports that Betis have offered a loan proposal until the end of the season. The Giallorossi are reportedly keen to let Vina go.
