As the Giallorossi continue their search for an additional centre-back, Marc Bartra of Real Betis has been offered to the capital club, reports Il Tempo.
The 31-year-old is intent on parting ways with Betis in this transfer window and is considering options outside of Spain.
The Italian newspaper reports that his profile fits Roma’s requirements for their defence. Bartra’s European experience is strongly appreciated by the Giallorossi.
Moreover, the costs involved in a deal for Bartra are low compared to Eric Bailly’s, for whom Manchester United keep asking €10 million.
