Real Betis threaten Diego Llorente’s return to Roma

Andy Mattioli

Real Betis are seriously thinking of pursuing Diego Llorente.

The Spanish defender is a concrete target for the Sevilla-based club, reports Relevo.

Llorente, who has played on loan at Roma for the last year and a half, is a target for Real Betis who would like to buy him on a permanent basis.

This formula seems to be appreciated by Leeds United: the English no longer want Llorente and are pushing for a permanent solution.

Roma, on the other hand, are keen on the player returning once more on loan.

The two clubs are locked in talks with Leeds not stepping away from their initial request: 5 million euros.
