Today’s edition of La Repubblica claims that it’s far from guaranteed for Jose Mourinho to continue his Roma tenure beyond this season.
According to the Italian newspaper, the Portuguese technician hasn’t yet addressed the topic of extending his contract with the Giallorossi.
The same applies to Roma’s ownership. The Friedkins have yet to approach the Special One regarding a potential renewal of his original three-year contract which is set to expire in 2024.
At the same time, Real Madrid are reportedly considering parting ways with Carlo Ancelotti at the end of this campaign. The Italian coach could choose to retire.
As a result, Florentino Perez has renewed interest in former Madrid boss Jose Mourinho and contact between the two could resume ahead of summer.
