Real Madrid going strong for Monchi

John Solano

In an interesting twist, both Il Tempo and Il Corriere dello Sport have reported that Sevilla sporting director Monchi could end up at Real Madrid and not Roma, as widely expected.

The strong interest of Roma president James Pallotta, who led the first courtship of Monchi along with Franco Baldini in London, has been confirmed for some time. However, Monchi appeals to many. PSG, many in England, and others in Spain, including Real Madrid.

However, Roma remain silent and calm on the matter. They are very cautious on the subject. They know that Monchi is very tempted by the Roman experience, because in the talks that took place in London with Baldini, there was also talk of financial situations, potential players, and employees to be added into the organization on Monchi’s team. Yet, no contract has been signed and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is trying to woo the transfer king to Madrid, and reports from Spain even suggest a deal is very close.
