Real Madrid seem to have joined the race for Roma target Marcos Leonardo.
As reported in the latest edition of O’Globo, Leonardo’s recent performances have not gone unnoticed by Florentino Perez’s club.
Following extensive transfer links with Roma over the course of the summer and ahead of the January window, Leonardo is now being linked with Real who have began monitoring his development in recent weeks.
The 20-year-old forward is also a target for Premier League side Newcastle United.
Santos will be looking to earn as much as possible off Leonardo’s sale in January after having promised him a move to a top European club.
