All signs point to Borja Mayoral being strongly tempted by an early exit from the capital in January.

According to calciomercato.com, Real Madrid will step in to mediate the Spaniard’s exit. Mayoral’s parent club was convinced the striker would conclude his two-year loan spell at Roma in June 2022.

However, the player’s desire to move in search of guaranteed playing time is forcing Madrid to take matters into their own hands.

In the meantime, Mayoral’s agent is looking around for the most suitable options come the January window.

Fiorentina remain the priority: Rocco Commisso’s club will have to deal with the situation regarding Dusan Vlahovic after the Serbian talent rejected a new contract with the Viola.

Mayoral is currently the favorite to replace the 20-year-old.
