Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos proposed to Roma

RomaPress – Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos is expected to leave the Spanish giants on a permanent deal when the transfer window reopens this summer.

After a two-year loan spell at Arsenal, Ceballos was hoping to find space with Los Blancos this campaign and convince new manager Carlo Ancelotti.

However, with less than two months remaining the season, it appears the midfielder failed to win over the Italian technician, featuring in only twelve matches in all competitions.

As a result, the 25 year-old’s representatives are working to resolve his club future as he enters the final twelve months of his contract with the Spanish side.

The player’s agent and several intermediaries have offered multiple clubs the opportunity to sign Ceballos on a cut-rate transfer deal this summer—Roma included.

The midfielder’s entourage held talks with the Giallorossi earlier this month, discussing the possibility of a potential summer deal. His representatives were also in contact with Inter in recent weeks regarding a possible move to the San Siro.

Both sides were intrigued by the opportunity, but neither club opened a formal negotiation.
