The head of the Italian referee association (AIA), Gianluca Rocchi, was not happy with last night’s nightmarish display from Fabio Maresca.
Rocchi was reportedly very critical of Maresca’s confused attitude, card mismanagement, and the circumstances that led to the penalty given to Milan to seal the 0-2.
According to Sky Sport, Maresca’s errors will cost him one match suspension.
Thus, Maresca will not to get to referee any of next week’s fixtures.
