Roma midfielder Renato Sanches remains doubtful ahead of the match with Servette in the Europa League.
With only a few days remaining until Roma’s next Europa League fixture, Sanches is looking to make full recovery following a period of uncertainty caused by muscle fatigue which he’s suffered from over recent days.
According to Il Tempo, Sanches is expected to resume group training today ahead of Roma’s Thursday night game.
However, Mourinho and his staff may choose to keep the Portuguese midfielder out of the final squad list for the trip to Switzerland given the harsh weather conditions over there; very low temperatures and frosty terrain; a difficult scenario for Sanches to return to the pitch.
Roma could choose to preserve him for the next Serie A fixture with Sassuolo.
