The future of Renato Sanches is bound to unravel away from Roma.
The Giallorossi will not activate the buy option included in his loan from Paris Saint-Germain and thus the midfielder will soon conclude his brief and unsuccessful spell in the Italian capital.
Sanches’ agent, Jorge Mendes, is already at work to find him a new destination and now the chances of seeing him back in Portugal are said to have increased.
In fact, O Jogo reports that Mendes has held talks with Benfica and the Portuguese giants are keen on giving Sanches a fresh start in his home country.
Once again, however, Sanches is expected to join Benfica on loan as the club remain wary of his unstable physical condition.
