After ending his brief spell at Roma, Renato Sanches continues to suffer from nagging injuries.

The Portuguese midfielder certainly didn’t leave a good memory for Roma fans who saw him mostly on the sidelines for the duration of the past season.

With only 12 appearances to his name for the Giallorossi, Sanches decided to return to Portugal and accept a loan to Benfica in the hope of reviving his career.

However, injuries are already tormenting him.

In fact, the former Giallorossi player stopped after just 15 minutes of training, complaining of discomfort in his muscles, reports Bola.

After two matches played in Liga Portugal, Sanches is now expected to miss some time due to injury.
