Renato Sanches is closing in on a loan move to Roma from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Portuguese midfielder has been selected as Roma’s second summer reinforcement for Jose Mourinho’s midfield following the free signing of Houssem Aouar.

Earlier today, PSG manager Luis Enrique decided to exclude Sanches from the squad list for their pre-season friendly in South Korea with Jeonbuk despite having involved the Portugal international in yesterday’s group training session.

This decision may hint at Sanches’ imminent transfer to the Italian capital.
