Roma midfielder Renato Sanches is reportedly one step away from completing his recovery.
The Portuguese international had been dealing with a thigh muscle issue for the past few weeks which prevented him from contributing to Roma’s recent run of consecutive victories.
According to Il Messaggero, Sanches is now clinically sound – the capital club continue to be cautious with regards to the player’s workload due to his extensive injury history.
In fact, Roma are working to erase the past issues the player experienced over the years and prevent any and all muscle injuries that could pose a threat to Sanches.
The newspaper claims Sanches could make his return to group training under Jose Mourinho later today along with Diego Llorente and Chris Smalling.
