Renato Sanches is unlikely to depart the Italian capital despite receiving interest from Besiktas.

The player has been linked over recent weeks with an anticipated exit from Roma following his poor start to the season which has been plagued by inconsistent performances and numerous injuries.

Sanches was able to draw interest from Besiktas who continue to be engaged in talks for him as the Turkish transfer window closes on 9 February.

The midfielder, however, does not appear to be interested in joining Besiktas, reports il Tempo.

According to the newspaper, Sanches has refused to move to Turkey, rejecting the proposals his entourage brought forth recently.

As a result, it remains complicated for Roma and PSG to enable his exit. Thus, Sanches is likely to remain in the Italian capital until the end of the season.
