Good news for Jose Mourinho as Roma continue preparations for their first match after the international break.
The last few days saw Paulo Dybala return to group training with Sardar Azmoun also being involved in group activities.
According to Il Tempo, the conditions of the Iran international have improved since his arrival in the Italian capital and he is expected to be fully available for the match against Empoli.
Similarly, Renato Sanches – who missed the last two games after suffering a minor muscle injury in training – has made progress in his recovery and will also be available after the break along with Dybala and Nicola Zalewski.
