Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches remains on Roma’s transfer list as the January window winds to an end.
Sanches was the first name to be linked with a premature exit from the capital club as Roma studied the possibility of interrupting his loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Giallorossi are still hoping to resolve Sanches’ situation at the club, but so far the player has not been on the offers that he’s received from Greece and Turkey.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Jose Mourinho’s dismissal from Roma could end up playing an important part in Sanches’ decision-making.
The pair had gotten into a confrontation following Bologna 2-0 Roma where Sanches was replaced less than 20 minutes into his appearance off the bench.
With the Special One gone from Roma, Sanches is reportedly keen on trying to impress Daniele De Rossi and getting a second chance to impress the club in the remainder of the season.
