Renato Sanches suffers thigh injury in first half of Sheriff Tiraspol clash

Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches was forced to exit the match against Sheriff Tiraspol earlier this evening.

Sanches walked off the pitch early in the first half, replaced by Leandro Paredes.

According to Sky Sport, Sanches has suffered a muscle injury in his right thigh.

The extent of this injury is yet to be assessed by the club’s medical staff.

His status will be evaluated in the coming days.
