Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches was one of the protagonists tonight in Roma’s emphatic 7-0 win over Empoli.
In his post-match reaction with DAZN, Sanches said, “It’s a really special moment for me, it’s my first game as a starter. I came back from an injury, I’m really happy.”
“I can play in many positions,” he added. “I need to play to do my best. The injury is behind me and I want to do my best for the team.”
“Being here is exciting. The best is yet to come. If I’m well I can have a good season. I feel happy here, there are great fans cheering us on.”
