Renato Sanches is still questionable for tomorrow night’s Europa League fixture.
The Portuguese midfielder was recently able to overcome a bout of muscle fatigue which had prevented him from being called for the match against Udinese.
On Tuesday afternoon, Sanches joined his teammates in the first group training sessions of the week ahead of Thursday’s clash with Servette.
According to most media reports, Sanches is still questionable as Roma do not want to risk him; Servette play on synthetic grounds and the weather in Switzerland on Thursday night is expected to be cold with frosty terrain which is deemed not suitable for a player with the kind of injury track record that Sanches possesses.
