English defender Chris Smalling has reportedly agreed to sign a new long-term deal with Roma.
Following months of negotiations, the Giallorossi seem to be confident in completing a new deal for the veteran centreback who is expected to extend his stay in the Italian capital until 2025.
According to the latest report by calciomercato.com, Smalling’s agent – James Featherstone – landed in Italy in recent days in order to finalize the details of the player’s new contract.
Smalling is expected to pen his new deal worth around €3.5 million in the coming weeks.
