Report: Di Francesco safe for now

Ansa have reported that Eusebio Di Francesco’s job as manager is safe – for the time being.

Reportedly, President James Pallotta is extremely displeased with the situation and has been in constant contact with Mauro Baldissoni and Franco Baldini. One concern, though, is Roma’s packed upcoming schedule, which includes important Champions League and Serie A commitments. Roma are, reportedly, prepared to back Di Francesco, however, there will be a clearer picture in the upcoming two weeks, when the club will have a better understanding as to their chances of qualification for the Champions League.

The immediate goal in Trigoria is to find solutions to a team that has fallen back into a bad moment after appearing to be out. While Di Francesco thinks about the issues on the pitch, Monchi tries to keep confidence high.
