Report: Digne only wants Roma stay

Italian transfer website calciomercato.com has reported that Lucas Digne has made his intentions clear: he wants to remain with Roma.

PSG still own the rights to Digne, who joined Roma on loan last summer with an option to buy for €18 million. However, Roma find this figure to be excessive and want to pay near €11 million. One option could be that DIGNE is loaned again to Roma next season, however, there would be a forced option to buy for €15 million.

One caveat that helps matters is the Digne’s contract situation. The boy’s contract expires in 2018 and the player’s entourage and agent have informed PSG they will not renew with th club, meaning he would walk free in June 2018: a situation PSG would like to avoid. In order to avoid losing him for free, it appears PSG could be willing to negotiate the figure on the left-back, who wants to remain permanently in the capital.
