Although he seemed destined to leave, Aleksandar Kolarov now looks likely to remain in Rome. Il Corriere della Sera reports that the Serbian is set to remain at Trigoria after receiving the backing of sporting director Gianluca Petrachi. In fact, the defender will meet with Paulo Fonseca in the next hours. The Portuguese manager will reiterate his will to Kolarov: he wants him to remain and move him to the centre of defence. Consequently, Kolarov is ready for an important role at Roma and spurn the interest of Fenerbahce, a solution that doesn’t attract him.
