The latest report by Sport Mediaset suggests Jose Mourinho could be at risk of being sacked by Roma in the coming days.

The latest defeat against Milan sees Roma drop to ninth position in the table with a mere 29 points.

Tonight’s result did not meet the expectations of Roma’s ownership who are now considering sacking Jose Mourinho.

According to Sport Mediaset, the current list of potential replacements is extremely short as the club were hoping to plan a long-term replacement for the summer.

However, the situation may require an emergency solution: former Roma captain and club legend Daniele De Rossi is among the first names on Roma’s list to replace Mourinho mid-season.

De Rossi’s only previous coaching experience was a short-lived spell at SPAL in Serie B.
