Report: Possible ACL tear for Zappacosta

The injuries continue to skyrocket at Roma. After having just returned two days from a groin injury, Alessandro Austini of Il Tempo reports that Davide Zappacosta may have possibly suffered a torn ACL today in training. The former Torino man has been limited to only one appearance for Roma this season after he strained his groin during the warm-up before the Derby della Capitale showdown with Lazio last month.

The fullback joined Roma on loan in August for six months with an option to extend the loan for an additional six months – however, should confirmation arrive that his ACL is indeed torn, his future certainly remains a question mark.
