For this reason, the Giallorossi are ready to renew his contract, currently expiring in 2027, with a substantial financial adjustment.
According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, negotiations for the extension until 2029 are well underway, with a possible new salary set at 1.8 million euros per season.
The situation, of course, still needs further developments before the parties find a definitive agreement but talks at an advanced stage.
