Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp did not take part in the club’s last matchday before the international break. After being excluded from the squad list for Sunday afternoon, Karsdorp anticipated his family vacation and flew to Amsterdam earlier in the morning.
Now, media reports in Italy claim that this may be Karsdorp’s final farewell and the player could leave the Giallorossi in January.
Following Mourinho’s comments in the aftermath of Sassuolo-Roma, Karsdorp felt the manager’s remarks and punishment to be too severe.
Karsdorp’s desire is to remain in the capital at least until the end of the season, but Roma are already considering potential destinations for January, preferably outside of Italy, reports Corriere dello Sport.
