A stunning report from Romanian outlet Sport.ro claims that Roma have agreed a deal to acquire Rangers attacker Ianis Hagi in January.
The 22 year-old former Fiorentina man was linked with a return to Italy throughout the summer after amassing six goals and nine assists in 27 Scottish league appearances last season.
Lazio attempted unsuccessfully to bring the versatile playmaker to the Italian capital before he ultimately decided to remain in Scotland with Rangers.
But multiple reports in Romania assert that Hagi will join the Giallorossi when the transfer window reopens in January for a fee worth €20 million.
The attacker was asked about the rumor this afternoon during a pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s league clash tomorrow versus Dundee.
“Right now I’m focused on the game, I am fully concentrated on Rangers and improving my game,” he said according to Daily Record.
“I feel like I have grown a lot as a player here physically and technically, I have added a lot to my game and still have a lot to add. I am focused on that and learning from the coaching staff how to get better.”
