The summer transfer window has just ended, but Cesar Luis Merlo revealed an incredible behind-the-scenes story involving Roma and Benjamin Dominguez.
According to the Argentine journalist, the Giallorossi attempted to make a last-minute offer to Bologna for the 2003-born Argentine winger of around €10 million plus another €2 million in bonuses.
The offer was rejected by the Rossoblu, who will therefore keep the player in their squad at least until January.
