Roma are said to have had a plan B to their deal for Empoli’s Tommaso Baldanzi.

In light of the 20-year-old’s arrival in the Italian capital – with the official announcement expected to take place in the coming hours – Leggo reports that General Manager Tiago Pinto had another option lined up in case the deal for Baldanzi fell through.

The Italian newspaper claims that Roma had been in talks with Bologna for Riccardo Orsolini who is likely to depart the Rossoblu at the end of the season.

However, negotiations with Empoli for Baldanzi proceeded at such a rapid pace that Roma never went into too much detail with Orsolini and his entourage.
