One of the brightest talents to shine in Roma’s Primavera in recent years was Alessio Riccardi, currently without a senior team after his brief and unsuccessful stint at Pescara (only two appearances in 20/21).
Corriere dello Sport reports that the 20-year-old – whose scoring and assist contributions in the years with the Primavera ranked him as one of Italy’s biggest prospects – is out of Roma’s plans going forward.
Despite featuring with Alberto De Rossi’s team in this year’s Primavera campaign, Riccardi’s future is not bound to the Italian capital.
The youngster was expected to find a new team before the end of the transfer window. However, few offers arrived at Roma’s doorstep.
Riccardi is reportedly looking to leave the Giallorossi once again in January. This time around he wants to choose the right team, where he would be able to play consistently and revive his career.
