Former Roma man Riccardo Calafiori reflected on the opportunity to return to his former stomping grounds with the Italian national team.
The Arsenal defender, called up by Luciano Spalletti for Italy’s new round of Nations League engagements, discussed the feeling of returning to the Stadio Olimpico for the game against Belgium.
“I’m super happy to be returning to the Olimpico,” said Calafiori. “I will be playing in front of my friends and relatives.”
“Being here is always a reason for me to give something more on the pitch,” he added. “I will show it on the pitch tomorrow.”
