Italian full-back Riccardo Calafiori is packing his bags ahead of his loan move to Genoa.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma and Genoa have finalized overnight the transfer of the 19-year-old, with Calafiori having his medical with the Grifoni scheduled for tomorrow.
The former Primavera player was close to joining Cagliari until the end of the season, but ultimately Genoa formulated a better offer as they searched for a replacement for Fares who is nearing a move to Torino.
Calafiori will join Shevchenko’s men on a dry loan until June.
