The future of Riccardo Calafiori is more likely to continue away from the Italian capital as the young fullback continues to draw interest in Serie A.
According to La Repubblica, Calafiori – who was forced to leave Roma’s preseason training in Portugal due to injury – is followed by Monza, Cremonese and Sampdoria.
Furthermore, the Italian newspaper reports that despite having announced a renewal for the 20-year-old, the player is still set to become a free agent next year.
As things stand, Calafiori’s contract with the Giallorossi is valid until 2023.
